Page Setup

This tab allows you to edit the wording on each of the student’s pages and choose whether or not the page is visible on the parent portal. You can also add new pages here.
To Edit:
Click on View/Edit to change the wording
you can also choose an icon that the students see on that page and decide if you want parents to see that information.
You are able to delete pages if you don’t want to use them or have made a new page to replace them (eg custom request page). One you delete a page it is permanent. If you want to keep a page but hide it from students go to 'careers setup' then 'profile setup order' and make sure the pages you are showing each year level are the ones you want.
To create a new page:
NOTE: You can only create a new page in the format of one of our existing page templates. You will probably only want to make new request or resource pages.
Click on “New Page”, give the page a name and add the instructions you would like the students to see.
Under “module name”:
- if you choose “Custom request page” you can create a page that students see and can request information from eg Gateways, Taster courses or Trades Academy places. The custom request page allows you to set the email address of the person you would like to receive the requests. When students click on their request tab they will be able to check on and track the progress of their request.Note: You can also set up a tracked request under the “reports and requests” tab. Students will be able to see these request options when they click on their request tab. This might be useful if requesting a reference etc…that doesn’t need to be a page in their profile.
- if you choose “Resources Page“, it will appear in the resources section of the student end. Make sure you set an icon too! The ‘Show on Parent Portal’ is irrelevant for this module.
