Please Note: This is the limit of subjects the students can choose in addition to their compulsory subjects. (For Example if English, Maths and Science is compulsory, the subject limits would be the amount of extra subjects that can be chosen by students)

You can edit all of the subject limits to suit each student year level. When you click on “Subjects Limits” you will find a list labelled “Subject Limits”.

If you want to add a new year level and their MAX number of Subjects, click the “New Subject Limit” button. Then a pop up window will open. It will have 2 sections: Select Year and MAX Number of Year levels.

  1. First select the year that you wish to set Subject Limits for.
  2. Then enter the MAX Number of the Subjects that can be set for that year level.

Once all details are filled in, ensure that you save changes.

To edit saved entries there is a button on the right that says "Edit Subject Limit"(for every question) that allows you to edit the saved subject limits.

Handy Hint:

Beside save changes (in the question pop up) you also can delete the record if you no longer want to include this entry.

Before making changes: If the page for the year is set to 'Simple Subjects', you need to enter the max number of subjects the student can choose, otherwise total subjects the student can choose, including any special choices (When using the advanced method)!
